Because the competition for rankings of shorter keywords can be fierce compared with that of long-tail keywords. This means that while long-tail keywords may contribute less traffic, you will be attracting exactly the audiences you are looking for and it is more likely these audiences will end up becoming your customers.

It is not enough to write a killer article in the hope that people find it. You have to interact with your audience and be socializing.

One of the best ways to be socializing is to apply social media platforms. With these social media channels, you can find fans, connect with your audiences and promote your content, which in turn drive more traffic to your website.

Although it has been claimed that guest post is not working, I personally believe it is still worth to give it a try, because I have used this strategy and got many new visitors and email subscribers.

One of the important things is you need to make sure you write blog post on a well known site that can bring traffic to your website and help build your brand.

If you do it right and regularly, guest posting is one of the best techniques for attracting more and more visitors.

6. Advertising

Advertising like paid search is good way of attracting visitors. One of the best paid search is Google AdWords, a pay-per-click service that allows people to build and run ads for their business. These clickable ads are then displayed in Google’s search results.

If used properly, AdWords can be a hugely successful method of driving traffic, marketing your product and ultimately getting increased sales.

7. Site speed

Improving your website speed improves visitor satisfaction and may have direct impact on your search ranking. In fact, Google has confirmed that site speed if one of the few ranking factors of a site.
